    Very nice game! Too bad that the control areas are very small and can not be adjusted in size. So I’m often pressing outside of a circle ..

    Fantastic game but totally sucks on the high end phone Samsung Galaxy S II.
    Tons of stuttering (e.g. World 1 Level 4) makes it terrible to play.

    I _really_ hope this is due to some bug and that you can and will fix it asap. Love the game but it just isn’t playable as it is now. As far as I know there are no more powerful CPU/GPU units out there, so I really doubt that it is too weak/old/slow.

    Tested on Samsung Galaxy S II, 2.3.5 Samsung original ROM.

      Yes, something is wrong with the Galaxy S II specifically. Other devices don’t have the performance problems it has, even devices that are comparatively underpowered. I need to get my hands on one to debug. We’re working on it!

    OK, so now I’ve also tested on a Galaxy S (1), 2.3.3, Samsung original ROM.
    On that unit it played very well. Wierd (as it stutters on SGS2) but great.
    I hope that is good news regarding fixing the problems with the SGS2 as it obviously is not a performance issue.

    Amazing game! It works perfectly on my Nexus S. One thing though: it would also be nice with a paid, fully version on Market (I would indeed buy it) – is this something you are working on? 🙂

      We’re not working on a fully paid version because one key component of WInd-up Knight is that you can complete the entire game for free if you are a hardcore player.

    Hello Robot Invader!

    First of all, congratz for making such wonderful game for android. It’s sad to see android market stuffed with a lot of poor games or with low quality ones. Even for a game made with Unity (the enterprise where I work at is starting a game-development team and they work with Unity, too, so I’ve seen what it can do) it’s very well polished.

    I looked around for some feedback report system, but since I didn’t found one, I decided to post here in the comments section. I tried to install this game on a Motorola Atrix device, running Froyo (2.2) and for some reason the game crashes when you try to open the in-game store. I can’t even start level 2 =/ The game “open” the store, i.e., load the background, the knight… then it suddenly crashes.

    After beating chapter 1 with S in every level but 3( those had A), it will not let me into chapter 2. Says I need to buy or complete chapter 1? Is this a bug or are we expected to have S in all levels to go on.

    Other then that game played well on epic 4g, except for a couple of levels having slow down. Nightmare 1 really had some fps drop.

    I tried couple different 3D drivers on my i9100 still laggs a lot, it’s unplayable now hope you can figure it out soon!

    Can you make wind-up knight compatible also with my phome (Samsung Galaxy S SCL (i9003))?

      The Galaxy S actually runs the game well, but it has another issue: it’s unable to download large applications (anything over 40 mb will fail). I’m told that the i9000 actually *can* download our game, assuming that it’s got 2.3 installed, if you uninstall recent Android Market updates. I haven’t personally confirmed this, though, so your milage may vary.

    Hi Guys,
    Great work on Wind-up Knight, it runs smoothly on my Motorola Xoom and looks great; a perfect demonstration of how it should be done.

    I see you’ve supported physical buttons on Xperia Play but do you have any plans to support external USB controllers on Honeycomb and ICS? I tried a PS3 controller the other day but could only pause the game, regardless of what button I pressed. With that in place I’d have a full console experience since I can also plug the Xoom into the TV!

    On a more personal note I’d like to thank Chris for Replica Island too; a really fun game that also helped me a great deal with learning about game development, which I’m now doing as a hobby.

    I look forward with great anticipation to your future games.

    Hi guys, nice game 🙂 I just have one small request: when it is time to stop playing, the best time to do so is right after dying. However we are forced to reload the level before we can quit, because the pause menu is changed to reload, too bad…
